Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nakhorn Poovarodom

Thammasat University, Thailand

Keynote Title: “Engineering Documentations for Conservation of Cultural Heritage Sites in Thailand”

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nakhorn Poovarodomreceived his Ph.D. in Production and Information Sciences from Saitama University, Japan in 1996. He won Thailand Research Fund Outstanding Research awards in 2010 and 2018. In 2018 he received International Outstanding Collaboration Award 2018, Japan Society of Civil Engineers (JSCE). Currently, he is an associate professor of the Department of Civil Engineering at Thammasat University. He is also a chairman of the subcommittee on Wind and Earthquake effects on structures, The Engineering Institute of Thailand Under H.M. The King's Patronage. His research expertise is related to historic structures, earthquake engineering, structural dynamics, etc.

Prof. Dr. Masato AKETAGAWA 

Nagaoka University of Technology, Japan

Keynote Title: “COOP Educational Program at NagaokaUniversity of Technology”

Prof. Dr. Masato AKETAGAWA received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science from the Department of Applied Physics at Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan, in 1983 and 1985, respectively. He joined Canon Company from 1985 to 1990 as a researcher of Excimer laser lithography equipment. After that, he joined Nagaoka University of Technology. He received his Doctor of Engineering from Nagaoka University of Technology in 1997. He is now a Professor of Department of Mechanical Engineering. He is interested in applied physics, precision machinery, precision engineering, scanning probe microscope, optical interferometer, and especially picometer measurement.

Assistant Professor En-Chin Su

Tunghai University, Taiwan

Keynote Title: "Green route for photocatalytic conversion of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid dissolved in real electroplating wastewater to hydrogen"

En-Chin Su is a fresh assistant professor of the Department of Environmental Science and Engineering at Tunghai University. Her professional expertise is in the field of photocatalytic hydrogen production, biodiesel conversion, and nanomaterial development and analysis. She has also worked in a core team of Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) to support the Bureau of Energy of Ministry of Economic Affairs to analyze global renewable energy policy, cooperate with Expert Group on New and Renewable Energy Technologies of APEC to plan the roadmap for doubling the global share of renewable energy in APEC region, evaluate the impact of renewable energy development on economics, and make incentive regulations for demonstration of renewable energy power station in community and indigenous area. She has gained the experiences of attending International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) assemblies and World Future Energy Summits and meeting the foreign government representatives and manufacturers who is interested in international cooperation on renewable energy development. Her work has significantly contributed to the green technology development and renewable energy promotion.

Professor Toshihiko Noguchi,

Shizuoka University, Japan

Keynote Title: "Prospect of Electric Vehicles    - Bleak or Rosy? -"

Toshihiko Noguchi was born in Kuwana, Japan in 1959. He received the B.Eng. degree in electrical engineering from Nagoya Institute of Technology, Japan in 1982, and the M. Eng. and D. Eng. degrees in electrical and electronics systems engineering from Nagaoka University of Technology, Japan in 1986 and 1996, respectively.

In 1982, he joined Toshiba Corporation, Japan. He was a Lecturer at Gifu National College of Technology, Japan from 1991 to 1993. He was an Assistant Professor and an Associate Professor in Department of Electrical, Electronics and Information Engineering, Nagaoka University of Technology from 1994 to 1995 and from 1995 to 2009, respectively. Since 2009, he has been a Professor in Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Shizuoka University, Japan. His research interests are main circuit topologies of power converters and motor drives including motor hardware.

Dr. Noguchi is a member of the IEEJ and a senior member of the IEEE.
